Indonesia is one of the cheapest countries to travel. However, if you are traveler, locals will try to get more money from you, that’s bargain everything! It is always good to know prices in country before traveling.
Here is the list of prices in Indonesia during November 2014.
15 000 Indonesian rupiah (IDR) was that time around 1 EUR.
Accommodation: 150 000 IDR/night/room (around 10 EUR)
Food & Beverages -> depending on location; rural place are cheaper than Bali or Gilis
* Nasi Goreng (Indonesian dish) in Warung (restaurant for locals): around 15 000 IDR/1 EUR
* Nasi Goreng in restaurant for tourists: 30 000 IDR – 40 000 IDR/2 EUR
* Fresh: 8 000 – 15 000 IDR
* Coconut: 2000 – 20 000 IDR
* Bananas: 2000 – 10 000 IDR
* Beer Bintang: 30 000 – 35 000 IDR
* Renting motorbike: 40 000 – 50 /day
* Petrol: it has changed in November 2014 from 6000 to /liter. During 1 day you will spend around 15 000 IDR
Massage: 1 hour will cost you around 50 000 – 70 000 IDR. I am sure that you will enjoy it everyday
